Paid product
threadgrid
What it is
threadgrid is the paid product built on threadpoint records. It owns personal and user-level memory roots, private project stores, cross-project workflows, archive, recall, curation, review, publication, license, and support handoffs as those capabilities become available. Current public docs show user-level consolidation as record-only local behavior.
Current state
The current public docs cover product boundaries, install handoff, license status, and safe support. The current v0 scope is a limited-time early-adopter lifetime purchase for install, activation, archive indexing, threadpoint-compatible project commands, and record-only user-level memory consolidation. Workflow guides list shipped commands, planning-only surfaces, and planned paid behavior so customers do not infer hidden support from roadmap prose.
Workflow guideWorkflows
Use the workflow guide before running paid automation. It documents current license, config, archive, and record-only user-level memory consolidation commands, and labels curation, review, promotion, recall, publication, handoff, support bundles, and license refresh behavior as planned or unavailable until those workflows ship. Paid recall and review are foundations until their workflow tasks ship, not completed customer workflows.
Workflow availabilityProduct split
Use threadpoint for the free project-scoped setup. Use threadgrid when the workflow crosses into paid personal memory, private stores, cross-project archives, curation, recall, license, account, or support surfaces.
| Workflow | threadpoint | threadgrid |
|---|---|---|
| Project-local agent setup | Free CLI for normalizing project agent files into provider-neutral records. | Consumes those records as project context for paid workflows. |
| User-level and personal memory | Out of scope. | Paid record-only consolidation surface for personal memory roots such as user guides, knowledge, rules, skills, plugins, imports, adapters, and provider home artifacts. |
| Private project and cross-project stores | Out of scope. | Paid planning surface for private project stores and future cross-project recall workflows. |
| Archive, curation, recall, review, and publication | Out of scope beyond project-local record mapping. | Paid workflows, documented as shipped or preview before customers rely on them. |
| Checkout, license, and support | No checkout, license, account, or entitlement behavior. | Hosted checkout, Polar order/license handoff, and support guidance. |
Paid boundary
Paid threadgrid workflows are license-aware and stay outside the public threadpoint repository. Public docs label planned workflow behavior before it is available, and hosted checkout and docs surfaces do not publish entitlement internals, private customer data, shared-project mutation examples for paid personal memory, or private operational procedures.
